I am mainly interested in the ways we experience space and the encounters within them. I am conceptually inspired by a subjective understanding of my relationship to space, presented in a way that can be interpreted by a diverse audience. My work thematically addresses phenomenology, existential philosophy, and female embodiment, primarily executed through video, audio, and installation.
During my stay at Luminous Bodies, I aim to produce a performance and video piece that proposes to relate the female body to the spaces on the Toronto Island. Thinking through the theme of heterogeneous bodies, I aim to reflect an understanding of my body in relation to current cultural values and societal expectations.
